FRANKLIN EARLY CHILDHOOD SCHOOL
The design and development of the integrated birth to eight years Early Childhood School (ECS) at Franklin was an exciting opportunity to design external spaces that contribute to inclusive, flexible and safe learning and play environments for young children.
The successful delivery of a quality landscape design for the Franklin ECS relied on close coordination between design team members and the building team. This ensured a seamless multidisciplinary design that realised key design principles across design disciplines. Landscape Architecture played an integral role in providing complementary design solutions in external spaces that worked with indoor spaces and building envelopes.
