The all new Farrer Village by Goodwin, is a refurbishment of the existing retirement village featuring 169 independent living apartments and a hub of local services and conveniences. Goodwin are renowed for their strong emphasis on landscape design for their developments and the landscape design included site-wide gardens, communal areas, activites areas, play areas and kitchen gardens.

dsb also designed several 'high-care' courtyards including a 'dementia courtyard' that required a landscape design that adheres to the standards for high-care courtyards through consideration of plants, colours, pavements, sounds, and sculptural elements in the landscape that promote positive engagement and mental health.
