The principal urban open space for Gungahlin Town Centre has been developed to provide multi-use spaces for markets and urban gatherings and intimate spaces for quiet seating and reflection.

A covered play space with structured play equipment complements the wide paved plaza spaces and surrounding shade trees.

The " water stream" art work at the north of the park allowed the illusion of water to be introduced into the space that was designed during a period of severe drought.
