JINDABYNE ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

The project involved the master planning and development of the landscape and open space design concept for a 114+ block large lot (3000m2) residential estate.

 

The site is a cleared farmland lot of 50Ha. located adjacent to Barry Way on the southern urban edge of Jindabyne NSW.

 

The landscape concept planning focus was reimagining the open space and riparian corridors as a conceptual framework for the large lot residential development.

The landscape development will create a quality visual setting for the residential areas through streetscape and open area tree planting, and riparian corridor landscape development. The street landscape treatment with street trees and open grass verges provides a rural feel that establishes visual unity and expresses the street hierarchy.

This project demonstrates an ability to see beyond the current circumstances and imagine an enhanced environment.
