ROWVILLE STUD PARK

Rowville, VIC

Stud Park Reserve is located in Knox City Council and adjoins Rowville Primary School. The reserve is comprised of a regional playground, Rowville Community Centre, infrastructure for a variety of sporting clubs, a sports oval, established trees and car parks.

Stud Park is Municipal Open Space which serves a regional size area and accommodates the needs of many community groups. Stud Park is the location for the annual Stringy Bark Festival which focusses on ways to inform and empower the local community to make achievable changes in their daily lives that contribute to a more sustainable way of living.

Previous master planning has addressed key issues of access, facilities and social and recreational spaces.

dsb Landscape Architects engagement included detailed design development and final tender documentation for the master plan issues.

The space was designed to integrate the proposed multiplay courts with the fitness stations, community recreational facilities (such as table tennis tables) and new shelter with picnic facilities
